What Is Hip Pain?

Hip pain can be the cause of injury, repeated movements or wear and tear. The hip joint is a sturdy joint and normally withstands repetitive movements, but there are other parts of the hip to account for when discussing hip pain or hip injuries. The hip has cartilage which acts as cushioning between the hip joint and the socket. The hip is also made up of muscles and tendons which can become inflamed or injured, causing hip pain.
